The occasion
A ceremony on the sand, or a dinner the other one does not see coming.
Several resorts are licensed to hold symbolic weddings and vow renewals, and resorts can arrange proposals, anniversaries and birthdays, from a ceremony on the beach to a quiet dinner for two. What each one offers, and what it costs, differs a lot. Tell us the occasion and we find an island that does it well, then arrange the details with the resort before you arrive.
A resort wedding for overseas visitors is a symbolic ceremony that carries no legal obligations. Couples who are not married at home can still have one, and receive a symbolic wedding certificate.
