The pairing

A little over four hours from the city to the sea.

Dubai to Malé takes a little over four hours, with several flights a day, and the Maldives is one hour ahead. A few nights in the city and then a week on an island breaks a long journey in two, and Dubai’s cooler months, roughly November to April, overlap with the Maldives’ drier season.

Plan your stay

Planning it

What to know before you book.

Plenty of flights, an hour’s time difference, and two seasons that line up well.

A little over four hours from Dubai to Malé, with several flights a day.

  2. The time

The Maldives is one hour ahead of Dubai.

  3. November to April

Dubai’s cooler months, the easiest for time outdoors, and the Maldives’ drier season.

  1. Summer

Dubai is hot and humid, and the Maldives is in its green season, with lower rates.

  2. Your UAE visa

Many nationalities are given a visa on arrival in the UAE. Check the rules for your passport.

A tourist visa on arrival, with a return ticket, a paid booking and the online Traveller Declaration, filled in within 96 hours before landing.

What we arrange

From Dubai to the island.

  1. Timed to your flight

The island transfer is timed to meet your flight from Dubai, and your flight home.

  2. An island for the hour you land

Seaplanes fly in daylight only, so land by 15:30 for a seaplane island. Later than that, an island reached by speedboat, or a night near the airport first.

  3. One quote

The island, the villa and every transfer on one quote, each on its own line.

  4. One contact

One contact from your first message until you fly home.
